It’s a good idea to take some Adia

Posted by adianutrition on November 15, 2011

I was surfing Facebook last night, and I came across this picture of myself with Brooke and Erika (I’m on the right – with the muscles). The weird thing is that I wasn’t in Boston yesterday, and the guy’s face is a little different. So Brooke and Erika must have photoshopped my body onto someone else’s face. Which I’m ok with, because the guy in the picture is younger than me.

Brooke and Erika took apart the Commonwealth Sports Club. There were two sampling events going on. There was Adia and a chocolate product. As you can tell from the picture, it’s difficult to compete against Erika. Adia crushed the chocolate company!!

Tomorrow night, Brooke will be at the Boston Sports Club across from South Station.

In Miami, we got off to a great start with Candice who made a significant sale at her first stop.  She went into Pure Pharmacy in South Beach and they got very excited and bought some!

She has a tasting next Tuesday at the South Beach Equinox, which I can only imagine will be amazing. Candice is also hosting Thanksgiving next week and is working on a probiotic Sangria. I’ve been testing wines for her, and we will post the recipe as soon as it’s finished. My method of testing wines involves me drinking the wine and thinking about sangria. I’m not sure how helpful that is.

Over here on the west coast, April and Jenny were at Irvine Ranch Market yesterday morning and dominated it. The Irvine Ranch Market no longer carries food. Just probiotic powder in two flavors (that’s a joke). The market was selling individual sticks, and they sold 66 in two hours. Julie is over there today, and I’m hopeful of the same result.

Julie was at Max Muscle yesterday, and she did great there. Julie is making incredible traction with some of the larger chains, and Amy continues to work the physical rehab centers, pharmacies and local stores.

On to the news. Everyone in my house is starting to get sick. Including me. So here’s a story on whether you have a virus or a bacteria:

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/11/11/us-phlegm-f-idUSTRE7AA3CM20111111?feedType=RSS&feedName=scienceNews&dlvrit=309301

According to this article, if it’s green, it’s bacterial and can be treated with antibiotics. If it’s clear or yellow it’s a virus, and can be treated with rest and fluids.

This is not meant as medical advice, obviously. If you get sick go see a doctor and do what the doctor says.

The one thing I would recommend, though, is make sure you have something bacterial before you take antibiotics. And make sure you also take probiotics.

Here’s another picture of Brooke and Erika:
